Does the SquareTrade insurance for iPad cover scratches on the screen?

I have it

I think they will only cover water damage and dead unit. I don't know any warranty that cover scratches unless the screen is broken.
Why don't you put a protector on it from zagg. That thing is awesome

Pretty sure cosmetic damage is not covered....

They are an amazing company though. My water dunked 3G claim was flawless...

I'm pretty sure they would fix it. If it is like the iphone insurance they would just deduct the costs to fix it from the "value" of your warranty". So if your warranty originally was worth about 600.00 it may now only be worth 500.00 after they fix the screen. Meaning if you dunk it in water and they have to pay you out you only get 500 instead of 600.00

Hmm... I am hoping they will. I have a scratch on my screen that is bugging me. It is deep enough to distort the colors, probably about 3/8" of an inch long.

Rechecked--hmmm....their site says full immersion is covered on the iPad, iPhone is listed as "corrosion and humidity". They never used to cover it at all, so this is new since I bought my Kindle policy from them last year...

Can't find anything so far on superficial damage, so I'd still suggest a call.
