Hey.

Yesterday I was in an official apple store (Phoenix) and I was talking to a techy there about Santa Rosa coming out at WWDC. He told me that it's very unlikely that the press and the public wil see SR due to all the bugs and what not. He got me thinking and rather upset; I really want SR to be here at WWDC.

So I guess my question is, what is the probability that it will, in fact, be here at WWDC?

due to all the bugs???

i dont know for sure whether apple will use SR now or not, but I know that if they don't use it's not because of 'bugs'.

Well if Santa Rosa is being released in a bunch of the PC systems today...then I'm sure Apple would want to get into the fun as well and update/establish Santa Rosa in their new MacBook Pro's. If they don't and they release them later just to 'address bugs', they'd be last in the competition and would probably lose a lot of sales.

He was probably just trying to close a sale or at least counter-act the SR purchase delay effect. I'm not saying that SR will come out in Macs for sure at WWDC, but I certainly wouldn't put any weight on what that guy was telling you.

We'd be seeing news if there were bugs with SR.

It actually sounds like he wasn't very techie and was thinking of Leopard, but that would be grossly ignorant and I'd hate to say that was the case.
