I got my new 2.4GHz 15" MBP few days ago, and I absolutely love it. But I noticed that it reports that the battery is 99% full, and that it's fully charged. Now, I haven't owned a Mac-laptop before, so is this normal? Should it ever reach full 100%?

Yeah, it's normal. To prevent constant charging which would be bad for your battery, the MacBook Pro won't start recharging 'til it falls below 93%.

I've been wondering, is there any way to change it from 93%? I wouldn't mind it not kicking in to recharge until 80-85% or so.

No. 93% is where all the Apple engineers have determined is the best place for that to happen... so I would just take their word for it :)

Thanks for the replies :). I used the machine on battery-power for a while, and it's now at 97%. But I'm glad to hear that everything is working as it should :).
