SR MBP + Final Cut Studio 2 - Results? Tests?

I'm ordering my new MBP with everything maxed out (i.e. the harddrive and ram) and was going to order the educational version of FCS2. I heard Color is really really hard on the computer and was just curious is anyone on the forums has run it yet and what the overall performance impressions were. Thanks!

Umm... it's the second fastest computer Apple has ever made and was built to run apps like FCS2, Shake, etc. With the new 8600M GT, Color will perform well.

I would like to tell you how it runs, but I'm still waiting for my new SR MBP to ship. I just got Final Cut Studio 2 and whole bunch of other software, so that when it does arrive, I'll go into install crazy mode. I'll let u know how it runs =D

Along with FC Studio 2, I got Shake 4.1, Adobe CS3 web premium, Maya 8.5, and Cinema 4D RC10
