Just wanted to do a little gloating, it'll probably come back and bite me in rear. I recieved what appears to be a perfect MBP today...no screen issues and no heat issues (and I've been running photoshop quite hard). Fans are serenely quiet, and this has to be the brightest and most beautiful display I've ever worked on!

I am wondering about something though, I purchased it last tuesday...but it came with Tiger preinstalled and a drop in of Leopard. Does that seem strange to anyone else? Should I wait to install 10.5?

PERFECT!!!!!!!

If you bought it at a reatil outlet it was prolly stock

I did too...2.4 MacBook Pro from B&H Photo. I upgraded to 4 gig RAM from Crucial, installed Parallels and XP from NewEgg. First thing I did was update all the software, then installed Leopard.

The machine works great. Just as I expected it would.
