So this isn't a typical thread about the computer getting hot, etc. I want to know, from SR MBP owners, how hot their notebooks get when running certain apps. I've noticed the following:
Web- Stays between 45-50(C)
Video watched online- Begins to rise, and peaks at about 70 before falling to about 67. Once the video is finishd, it will fall back down to about 60 pretty fast, and then keep cooling until it gets to about 55 or so.
DVD- Really hot. I think it stays at about 70 for the length of the entire movie.
General apps like iTunes and Neo Office don't seem to raise the temp too much. It mostly stays at about 40-45 for those.
