I will update my Kingston Fury Renegade SSD to latest firmware but I found only a Windows Tool from Kingston which not work on my MAC Studio M4 Max and latest macOS 15. I don't have a PC, is there any other solution to update the Firmware? I don't understand why is so complicate to update the SSD Firmware on Mac.

There’s also:

Can I update my SSD firmware via USB enclosure?

While it may be possible to update your target drive’s firmware via USB storage enclosure, Kingston recommends against this. Proper update procedure involves having your target SSD directly connected to the system ports (SATA or NVMe, where applicable).

By the way, this is a common recommendation/requirement across brands.

That is quite funny, as Kingston sells USB SSDs and provides firmware updates for them.

I get what you're saying, but that’s what they recommend/require.

Similar with Samsung:

What is firmware? How do I update it?

Firmware is a very small software program stored on semiconductor chips such as NAND chips. It contains the software code and commands required to operate the device.

Samsung recommends using the latest firmware and Magician software. Regular updates are needed to maintain the latest version of firmware and software and add customer experience improvements, including operational stability and performance optimization.

Samsung SSD firmware can be updated using the Samsung SSD Magician software. The Samsung SSD Magician software can be downloaded from the Samsung website.

www.samsung.com/ssd or www.samsung.com/samsungssd
If new firmware for the Samsung SSD is available on the system, then the ""New Version of Firmware Detected (Version Number)"" message will appear next to the Update Button on the firmware update screen.
The Magician software is only available for Windows and cannot be used for Linux or Mac OS X. A bootable USB drive or CD can be created with the firmware ISO file. (available at semiconductor.samsung.com/consumer-storage/support)
[Warning]
Please back up data and close all running applications (except for Magician) before updating the firmware
Do not turn off power while the firmware is updating
Firmware updates cannot be performed on SSDs with RAPID mode enabled
PC reboot is required
Firmware updates are not possible through an external USB connection

Smasung T7 USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface
"Unlock the full power of T9 with Samsung Magician software ... get the latest firmware updates.
**Firmware update requires internet connection."
https://semiconductor.samsung.com/consumer-storage/portable-ssd/t9/
I understand that a SSD manufacturer can not guaranty or recommend firmware updates over third-party USB enclosures. But that doesn’t mean it’s not possible :)
Inside T9 is the same ASMedia USB controller that can be found in many USB enclosures.
