I have mid 2012 Air with 128GB SSD (back then they were quite expensive so I optet for only 128 GB) wich is OK for me. I usualy keep it at around 65GB free space. But with latest xcode update it went donw to like 55G and now usually is around 52GB.
I am not sure what happend with Xcode update that ate so much free space (maybe it did not delete downloaded content or something). When I go to applications and check info on xcode it says it uses 8.66 GB of space.
I have Time machine backup turned OFF (and have run terminal command to turn local backup off).
I have only couple of dosend apps on my mac (xcode, garageband, iMovie new and old, Pages, Numbers, Coda 2, Pixelmator, some video converting apps).
When I updated to Mavericks my free space was about 78GB and I have downloaded for maybe max 5G worth of new software. Not sure how I am down to low 50GB.
When I run command in terminal i get this results:
1 /.DocumentRevisions-V100
1 /.fseventsd
1 /.Spotlight-V100
0 /.Trashes
0 /.vol
10 /Applications
1 /bin
0 /cores
1 /dev
1 /home
5 /Library
1 /net
0 /Network
12 /private
1 /sbin
6 /System
27 /Users
1 /usr
1 /Volumes

I tried Disk Doctor and other than some cache files (cca 500MB) I dont have any other big files eating my SSD space.
Any help is greatly apreciated
