Hey, so I just installed a 120 GB SSD in my 13" Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. I replaced the optical drive with the original 500 GB HDD using a tray I got from Amazon. Everything is working all fine, but I wanna reduce some redundancies.

So first of all, I'm using the SSD as a boot drive, and to store my most used apps (chrome, word, onenote, powerpoint, steam, etc.) and I'll be using the HDD as a storage drive.

I was wondering how I could remove mac OS from the HDD so I only have an operating system on the SSD, but keep all the files and apps on the HDD.

I'm also wondering how I could make it so the apps on the HDD appear in Launchpad without having to add them to the SSD?

Edit: I am running Mojave on the SSD
