Hi guys. I'm from Italy and i want to ask you an advice. I want to upgrade my Mac mini mid 2010 (with 4gb ram and core 2 duo 2.4ghz) from the 500gb hdd to a 128gb SSD. Which is the best SSD for my Mac according to speed and reliability? Thanks

try for a 256 gb or 512 gb size. 128gb is small and the price is not much lower then certain models.

this is not an easy job to do there are 3 wires that are easy to break. Also the 2010 mini and older models 2009 20008 or 2007 don't like sata III SSDS. YOU NEED TO FIND A SATA SSD. The first one on the list is a great deal. I do not know what they will charge you to ship it but they ship over seas.

this is the wrong size and with shipping from usa to italy is may be too high in price. this is one of the best drives for that machine. here is another one

hard to find these and this one is over priced a lot. I have found these for 180 us dollars

also over priced

notice all of this are older models as they are SATA II ssds

YOUR MAC MINI WILL DO BETTER WITH A SATA II SSD!! not the newer sata III models.

I am typing on a 2010 mac mini it has a samsung series 810/470 sata model and it is flawless.

so i need the best 128gb sata ii

You're rally kind and polite, thanks a lot! But believe me, i don't need a 256 or 512 GB. I'm used to put photos and songs in an external hard drive. So i must decide the best 128gb SATA II (i don't think that it's possibile to find SSD SATA I) in terms of speed and reliability for my Mac mini. Thanks again
