The top iMac have 2TB Fusion Drive and the middle and base one 1TB Fusion Drive, but if you change them both to 2TB (beside the fact that the middle one with 2TB i so not worthed when that makes it only 100$ less from top...)

so they all three have the same 2TB Fusion Drive
then you see that from there going to 512GB SSD on base and middle is +100$ on both
but on the top one it is +200$, the 1TB SSD also is 100$ more,
check it out, think about it,
that pisses me off so much, that's soo wrong, right?

there is already a topic about this. some people are claiming the low and middle overcharge for the 2TB upgrade by 100$, that's why the upgrades beyond that are 100$ cheaper. different perspective.

On the other hand, the mid-range model (with upgrades to 2 TB Fusion and i7) and the high-end model with the i7 upgrade cost the same $2499. But the high-end model comes with a better GPU.

The pricing is a little bit odd, and I wish there were options for somewhat slower (but cheaper) SSDs. But the new iMacs are pretty good value, especially considering the best GPU is no longer a BTO upgrade.
