Hi! I am planning to place an order on a new Macbook Pro 16". I will mostly use it for photo editing (Lightroom and Photoshop).

The specs:

Macbook Pro 16"
i7 processor
32 GB RAM
512GB or 1TB SSD (to use together with current 4TB Lacie HDD).

So the question is, should I go with the 512GB SSD or the 1TB SSD? I will only work on current project from the SSD and the use the Lacie-drive as backup storage. Will the 512GB be future-proof with files getting larger or am I better to go with the 1TB option instead for an additional USD 250?

If you can afford it, go with the 1TB: if you need the extra capacity it will be futureproofed, as the SSDs are soldered.

I am close to maxing out my budget, but if I could go with the 13" inch maybe? They only downside is that it has a integrated graphics card? But maybe that is totally fine for PS and LR.
