SSD wrong format?

Hi All,
For some of the work? I do I need Windows! so I decided to use an SSD that I had for media, etc. Bootcamp went fine, but the windows install software did'ent find the drive. Of course not it's MAC format, so used Disk utility to changes it to Fat32 the only windows option, no that did'ent work either.

So I connected the old (not that old) PC up and gave that a try with the same result, that neight windows or the Samsung migration software still can't find this drive... How can I use the MAC to get this formatted to NTFS or even the PC..

Is there a way to completely restore this drive? for windows.

DU: Partition tab: change number of partitions and look "Options" and change from GUID (GPT) to Windows MBR (unless you plan to do an UEFI install of Windows!) then set the number of partitions and size, FREE SPACE would also be fine.

Use WD Lifeguard to do a quick erase is one way to nuke all partition tables and force Windows to ask if you want GPT or MBR after that.

You need to follow the bootcamp installation instructions exactly and it requires that the windows installer format the drive you want to use. Anyway, somewhere when the bootcamp assistant gives you instructions on what to click through on the windows installer, you have to remember to select the drive you want and nuke it...

I'm recalling this from memory, but remember it was confusing in that you didn't just select the standard options from the windows installer.

That said, I believe when you run bootcamp assistant you should be able to point it to the 2nd drive for it to give you the options and start installing on it.
