I just purchase a 2012 mac mini and 16gb of ram. I just wondering which ssds are compatible with it? I was thinking about purchasing this one

You can use any SATA 2.5" SSD with that model Mac Mini.

My opinion only, but a Crucial drive will serve you well for less $$$$...

I agree, I think an MX100 would provide a lot of bang for the buck in a Mini and would balance well with the rest of the system.
