SSH a theme

Sorry im a noob at sshing still. I've searched and searched on google, and youtube but i cant find my answer.

I've SSHed into my iPhone with WinSCP. I know to put the theme on i need to go to /private/var/stash/Themes.Wq5TqA and drop it in there, then click it in winterboard. Right?

So when i download a theme.. say off of macthemes, some come zipped, and others .rar and in other formats.

Im guessing i need to unzip the folder?

My questions - What format do i need to have the theme in when i drag it into the /private/var/stash/Themes.Wq5TqA part?

Once i unzip it, do i drag the whole folder or parts of it?

Do i need to make a folder within the /private/var/stash/Themes.Wq5TqA thing to drop my themes in?

UnZip or UnRar it until it's in a folder or it might be in a package ( abcde.theme) (usually on a Mac)

Drop the whole folder/theme pack into the themes folder, then check it in WB as you said.

You seem to have this pretty well figured out.

Yeah finally figured it out, and got it to work. Now i just need to know how to SSH, widgits and how to combine themes togather? Like useing a theme but useing the glassorb dock instead of the one supplied?

You can open the .theme file. It will take some time, but eventually youll understand what each file in there is in a theme then you can easily replace them.

You're well on your way. Just start exploring the files within the themes and it will come together. Back up your themes and then start playing. You already know how to put it back if need be.

Oh, i see. Opening the theme and replaceing that dock with the dock i want then re-sshing. Thanks for the help guys. Im still learning haha

Getting the hang of it, but i just ran into a problem. Im trying to get the gruppled lockinfo theme installed. I watched youtube walkthroughs and it still wont work right.

I ssh the 3 grupple files into my themes, then use the config file to change my zip code like normal.

But when im done, all my screen ever shows is the weather plugin and grupple background. None of my other plugins show up, i.e. calls, texts,calender. I've tryed reinstalling lockinfo & the plugins. Doesn't work.

Im running 3.1.2 on a iPhone 3G, jb by blackra1n, if that matters.

What am i doing wrong? I've been trying things for hours now hah.

Anybody? I spent all last night trying, now all today haha. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is.
