Hi there,

Although I have a good understanding of my mac, I can not, for the life of me, work out how to use SSH? Basicallly, I (think I) have enabled SSH on my AppleTV using the patchstick, which seemed to work fine. But now I need to do other bits an pieces involving SSH and have no idea...

So, I suppose I have two questions....

How do I work out the IP of my AppleTV

And how do I log in to it and make sure that ssh in enabled?

I know the username and password (frontrow, frontrow). Am I in way over my head?

Any help appreciated :)

From a terminal

To work out the IP address look on your DHCP server for what has been allocated. If you don't know if you have a DHCP server it's perhaps running from your router.

Then

ssh -l username ipaddress
