SSH help

I bought a jailbroke 2g with 2.2 last week.
I'm trying to use SSH that seems to be already on the phone.
I only assume this because when i tried to install it via Cydia, my only options were delete or re-install. i did not find SSH on Installer anywhere.

I just installed Cyberduck on my MBP.

Now what?

go into settings under wifi and click on the little arrow and you can see what your ip address of your iphone is is. then in cyberduck click new connection> SFTP and type that ip address, and as username type root and password as alpine. It is easy

I thought I needed to turn on SSH on my phone somehow...

by default SSH is always on unless you get another program to toggle the settings, such as bossprefs.

Make sure it is turned on first. Install bossprefs first if not.

Or SBSettings.

Download DiskAid. Then you don't need to install the SSH via cydia. You can access the Root directory with it. I find it a lot easier to use.
