hi i got an original iphone today and i am now trying to put some nes roms on it. when i try to ssh to it i can get to the root of it but it only shows 2 directories, Media and Library.

for some reason the application directory isnt there, any ideas?

thanks

The root that you describe isn't actually the root of the phone. It is actually /var/private/root. So you need to navigate back up the directory structure to the actual root of the drive.

sorry for double post but how do i do that? it doesnt seem to be letting me go any further back than where i currently am

use the command "cd /" (without quotes) it will take you directly to the root of the drive. Or use "cd .." to go up one level.

Or if you want to go straight to the application folder "cd /Applications" without quotes.

edit: Good luck.
