Is it possible to SSH over an ad hoc I create for PDA Net? Not been having any luck. It generates an IP but Cyberduck does not like to connect to the phone. Any ideas?

You've got that half-right.
There is no need for PdaNet.
Simply create an ad-hoc network on your computer, and connect to it with your device.
You will not have internet access in the meantime, but you will be able to SSH.

I think this was my mistake. The only time I create ad hoc is for PDA Net and I have only tried to SSH after turning on PDA Net. Sounds like PDA Net is causing the failure to connect via SSH on an ad hoc.
LOL, That is exactly what I said in my last post. PDA Net was preventing me from connecting successfully. Sorry if I was not clear.
Okay... I wasn't sure. That was one of two possibilities that I thought you may have meant. I answered the other one.
