I realise this should maybe have been put into Mac Peripherals, but thought I'd get better answers in here.

I'm wondering if there is any stackable hard drives that fit the exact dimensions of the 2011 Mac Mini?

I see the Minimax and Ministack, but afaik these are sized to suit the 2010 or older?

I wish to stick to the same look as the Mini, as it'll be on show and don't have much in the way of room....

Very many thanks for the reply.

Loving the idea of the Mini case and adding a drive to it, but I'm not very tech-headed. Is it a straight forward procedure? Do I need to buy a cage or anything to fit the drive to it?

I emailed OWC a few weeks back about a matching case for the current mini, perhaps even one that would take an optical drive. In their reply they hinted that they were working on something.

Just what it is and when it will show up are unknown.

Bound to be an expensive option for me too, as I'm sure the shipping and customs charges would fire the price upward somewhat.

I already have a 1tb WD external I may have been able to take to pieces and fire it into the Mini case....if I thought it would work. :)

Just realised that's a 2010 casing on eBay, so would that mean I could fit an optical drive for DVD's and CD's?
