I have iPad Pro 11 iOS 16.1.1
Stage Manager app initially worked as designed but now it has an issue with 'Recent apps' and 'Dock'.
It doesn’t have effect. I simply don’t see it.
Restarting iPad didn’t help.
How to fix it?
What could cause it to work before but failed after?

well suddenly it started to work.
I believe the culprit was that I tried it in 'portrait' mode ...while when I turned it to 'landscape ' it started to work.
Anyway ... now I'm all set and I kind of see the use of it on my iPad but still don't see much use of it on MacBook.

No, not useful. I don’t use my device for work and mostly use it in portrait orientation. In fact, since I mostly use it resting on my lap while reclined I find my Gen 5 Pro less useful than my Gen 1 because they shrank the bezel to get more screen space and now using my Gen 5 is more difficult to use in portrait mode.
