I seem to have a square ring around the Apple logo of my brand new Mac Studio. Clearly this is a result of force on the packing on the unit itself. I have tried a wet towel, a glasses cleaner mini towelette, my finger...and under light it remains. Does anyone else have this or have any solution? Quite an eyesore on an expensive machine. Much appreciated.

Before I sent that back, I'd try a couple of tissues (wadded up), moistened with a VERY MILD cleaner, such as "Glass Plus" (which has NO ammonia in it).

That might clear the imprints off.

If THAT doesn't work, then, yes, send it back...

Elbow grease with a good quality micro fibre cloth like one would use on a higher end watch does the job on similar stains in my experience. Might be a use for an Apple polishing cloth!!

Thanks everyone for the replies. It seems to be less eye catching after a little more cleaning and it’s minor compared to other problems in the world. I also don’t want to wait until May as I upgraded to 32 core GPU and 1TB. Thanks again.

If it still seems like you have it before the return time...call them and they would probably like to exchange it and "capture" it for a team to look into it.
