Stainless Steel band on Normal Aluminum Watch - OK?

Quick question ---- is using a stainless steel lug band in a normal aluminum AW3 ok or will it harm the watch over time? Should I stick to the Fluoroelastomer bands?

Nice band. You should Have no problems. Some might say the stainless steel lugs could "harm" the aluminum. However, take your time when inserting the band and removing it, and you will have no problem.

Also, There are lots of forum members who use stainless lugs with the aluminum and have never reported damage. When I did own the aluminum model, I had two bands that had stainless lugs and it never damaged the aluminum port at all.

Ooops looks like I confused the AW types. Looks like you noticed too - lol. Yeah I have the normal $350 Aluminum one. The ceramic one is $1200! dang! lol.
