iPod Stainless steel shuffle

I love this one too! If you notice its almost double the weight of the normal version.
 
This is EXACTLY why Apple released it :p

I may have to buy it just as a collectors item and never take it out of the box. It's sooooo cool :eek:
I just wish I could play with one in the store, but I doubt they'll have it as its online only.
 
Just a new way to dress up an otherwise lousy product. I wish Apple would backtrack to the 2g shuffle and refine it. The 3g is junk, IMO.

If I'm not wrong, it was said that you could get them in Apple Retail/Online store. That means no best buy, etc.
 
This looks gorgeous, but I wouldn't pay the extra for it. Would prefer to spend the extra and get a new nano. And won't these get really scratched up? Is the polished stainless steel the metal that was used on the back of the old 3G/4G iPods and the original nanos that would scratch like crazy if you even just breathed on it?!
 
It looks good. But we all know how polished stainless steal scratches! =O

it looks nice but them putting the buttons on the headphones means its a no go for me, ill buy a refurb 8gb nano instead

Store means both physical Apple Store and online Apple Store =)
 
I have the black one and it's perfect for me. Got it as a gift from work too when they were first released a few months ago.

The silver one does look good though. A little steep on price for me but cool.

Hmmm. Interesting. I'm looking at my black shuffle right now and so the silver finish will be the same as the clip. That will be shiny!!
 
I do really like it. However, I'd have battle scars on it in ten seconds, which I guess is ok -- in my house on my toys, they're signs of utility and affection-- but I'd rather have a deep blue one or a deep green one.

I am getting tired of the aqua blue and the spring-lentils green they keep using. I want something in blue or green that's true to the pure color, like the colors they mix to get the purple or orange. Of the new colored shuffles I only really like the pink one. Orange would be great!

Now I can finally say I'm not a 100% fan of all things Apple. :)

Watch me cave in and get the shiny one...
 
Simichrome, a little dab 'ill do ya. Simichrome on a paper towel (just a dab) will bring back the shine and remove the scratches from stainless. Making it just as shiny and bright as new. The backs of your Iphones and touches will shine also from a treatment of this stuff.

If I had a job and some spendin' money, I'd buy a couple of those shiny shuffles and stash em away.
