I bought my iPhone 11 Pro right when it came out last year. I always used it with a thin silicon case and it is still in great shape overall.

However, the back shows a number of stains especially around the frame. As I intend to sell it when the new phone comes out, I am wondering how I can remove those stains. It is not clear to me if they have been caused by small debris that got trapped between the case and the phone and then “polished” the stained glass over time. But from the looks of it, it could also be that the discoloration occurred under the glass. I tried cleaning it with a microfibre cloth, water, and applying pressure to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced this on their 11 Pros?

You might want to try some windex and then follow up with car wax or a plexiglass polish. Both aren't very abrasive but will remove contaminants from the surface... If it's under the glass, there's nothing you can do to remove them..

Hi, I am having the same issue as you.
I am using an 11 Pro Max with a clear silicone cover from Spigen. I just noticed similar dark stains on my unit as well.
Tried cleaning them with alcohol, didn’t work.

It seems like it is some discolorization under the glass...

I am also have they same issue. I took the spigen liquid armor case off for the first time in a while and notice all these discolored spots on the back. If i dab alcohol on the back of the phone it forms the design of the inside of the spigen case perfectly almost like a shadow.

I have similar stains around iphone 12 camera rings and had on iphone 11 (black) around camera rings too.
I don't know why - I didn't use any case which cover camera bump, but it looks like affect more "frosted glass" (which no-pro models have around cameras) than normal one...
