Stand or dock for new iPad

I have a 10.5 that I have docked with a logi stand where it also charges via the smart connector on the side. I like it because I have it in my office and can use it as a second screen sometimes. Now with the smart connector on the back in portrait mode, will there be an option to have a stand to dock in landscape? I think the smart connector is a really odd location for things like this.
