for those of you using clamshell mode , do you use a stand for you Macbook Pro? if so , which one?

I have a Macbook Pro 15” , a 27” 4k display, and a 24” display for my setup, but I would not have a problem not using the 24” display.

I’ve thought about using the Macbook Pro’s display in tandem with the external display , but my eyes have a very narrow range of focus.

Meaning , the display has to be a certain distance from my eyes for me to be able to read the screen .

e.g. at 13” inches I can read the screen , at 12” or 14” it’s a blur. So a stand would need to both raise the screen and bring it close enough for me to be able to read it. I haven’t see a stand that can do that as the Macbook Pro would practically have to be completely vertical to accomplish that while not jabbing me with the keyboard :)

So think a Rain Design Mstand is out , but a book arc or Henge stand would work.

Thoughts ?

I went with the BookArc . It should arrive in 3-4 days.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'm not good at choosing at stand as my brain flips between the pros and cons of each option in an infinite loop until I fall asleep.
