Other Standard 13 is possibly the weakest upgrade yet

With no new features at all, and just a few tweaks to camera and processor specs, it’s fair to say this is an extremely minor update to the 12. I guess it would be compelling for those with an older device than the 12, but that’s mainly because of the features that were introduce last year. Even the colours were more boring than usual. If they hadn’t said that the “pink” model was pink, I wouldn’t have been able to tell. A 12S in all but name

Seems the pro is the more significant upgrade this year although even that was less than some of the rumours were suggesting

On a side note, loving how the Apple Watch Series 3 lives on lol

They did upgrade the base storage size to 128GB, so there’s that.

All 13 models are ho hum.
Worthwhile replacement for a creaky 6S or earlier iPhone though.

Most won't be upgrading from a 12, but from an 11/XR, or an 8 or earlier. The 13 is a big upgrade from any of those models. Even so, the camera updates don't look insignificant, and that's a very popular feature.
