Standby bug

iOS 17 Standby bug

Hi folks, I’ve just installed iOS 17 on my 14Pro and I can’t get Standby to work properly. When the phone charges, the best way to describe what I see is a pixelated standby. It’s as if it’s there in the background but kind of censored if that makes sense?
It’s been working fine on my 11Pro for several weeks when I was running the public beta.

Any ideas?

When I rotate my Ms Max, nothing happens. How to trigger the standby mode?

Edit: I have to place it somewhere or hold it steadily when device is locked.

Yep, makes sense, I'm having the same (iPhone SE 2020).

The first image is how I set it up to be shown when in standby mode.

The second image how it ends up looking when standby mode is activated and the phone is on its side.

Found a fix for it:
Settings -> Face ID & Passcode -> under "Allow access when locked", enable Lock Screen Widgets.
