I just started using StandBy I want to really like it, but it's behaving oddly. I use an app, SweetDreams, that displays my blood sugar on the lock screen. For it to work properly, I have a shortcut that refreshes the live activity every 8 hours. While in StandBy mode, when the shortcut runs, StandBy starts displaying the widget instead of the time. How do i stop that behaviour?
My StandBy display is just the clock.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're using the furthest page of screens to the right in Standby, where it shows only clocks pretty much? Then, at the 8 hour mark, Standby changes to a different screen for the SweetDreams widget?

If so, Have you tried using the side-by-side Standby screen, the furthest page to the left? You could have the clock on one side, and the widget on the other all the time. This would keep it from jumping around.

If you are using the side by side screen, have you tried disabling smart rotate or widget suggestions?

I like Standby, but Apple really half-assed the customization experience. Users should be able to customize Standby in Settings, and disable pages they don't want. I never use the photos page, and it's silly with night usage. Yeah, I'm gonna use FaceID while I'm in bed and my iPhone is on my nightstand, when I'm just trying to check the time in my sleep deprivation. :rolleyes:o_O

Agreed. It's also why I just use the clock only face. In the middle of the night, I just want to see the time. Don't care about the date or weather. I just don't see the point of that clock with overlapping numbers either.

I just ended up running the last live update at 2230, I know I don't usually go to bed before that, and again when the phone disconnects from power, so first thing in the morning. In retrospect, I don't really care if that live activity is refreshed while I sleep.
