In the last year I purchased Star Wars The Force Unleashed and found that the xbox 360 controller driver I had installed previously and which had served me perfectly for every game I ever played on my Mac Pro (Halo, Bioshock, Borderlands etc) interfered with the game's 'in-built' driver. Therefore, in order to play Star Wars I got rid of the existing controller driver on my system. Thereafter Star Wars worked perfectly with my XBox 360 wired controller but of course I couldn't play any other games anymore using the controller. I have now finished with Star Wars and have unistalled it and reinstalled Tattiebogle's XBox 360 driver, but the controller doesn't register when I plug it in. Am I missing something? Is there some rogue file somewhere I need to get rid of or what? All my games are currently useless to me. Please help.

xbox controller help

there could be a couple of issues:

1) Make sure your controller isn't plugged in (unplugged!!!) when installing... otherwise it doesn't work.
2) If that's not the reason it might be worth installing the 2nd most recent update on Tattiebogle's website - some people seem to have problems with the last version depending on their system. Hope that helps.

Yeah, Star Wars The Force Unleashed and pretty much every other Aspyr game except RAGE and perhaps Borderlands 2 is not compatible with the tattiebogle drivers. You have to uninstall them to use the gamepad with SWTFU and other Aspyr games.

Not really a solution for me because I have a wireless 360 controller and it doesn't work at all without those drivers. Also, I can imagine it'd be a pain to constantly install the drivers for some games and then uninstall them for Aspyr games.
