Star Wars: T.O.R - Bootcamp/iMac questions

:) Hello guys, I have two very quick questions:

1) Does my current iMac 27" 3.1GHz meet the following requirements in order to play SW:TOR? They are as follows:
What are the system requirements for the game?

Processor:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz or better


Operating System:
Windows XP or later


RAM:
Windows XP: 1.5GB RAM
Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB RAM

Note: PCs using a built-in graphical chipset are recommended to have 2GB of RAM.


Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ requires a video card that has a minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM as well as support for Shader 3.0 or better.

Examples include:
ATI X1800 or better
nVidia 7800 or better
Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better


DVD-ROM drive – 8x speed or better (required for installation from physical editions only) Internet connection required to play.


2) When partioning my iMac's hard drive, how much space should I use for windows - baring in mind I'm ONLY partioning to run SW:TOR (but I want enough so it's not laggy/good experience!)

1. Yes, definitely. I have the 2011 27" too, everything is set on high and it runs great.


2. If you're only doing the OS and the game? I personally would go at minimum 50GB (but I tend to worry that I don't have enough space).

Excellent, I shall be getting that sorted tomorrow! As for the 50GB, would say around 200GB is good? Basically 1/5'th of 1TB my mac dedicated to Windows & ST:TOR?

Yeah, I have about 250GB on mine, mostly because a friend has nudged me back into PC gaming, and away from console gaming. I'm a Steam fangirl too, so that doesn't help when it's like "OOoo... sale!", and I buy more games.

Awesome, thanks allot. Just to double check, I have the 4GB 3.1GHz (2011) iMac 27" - Going to run via bootcamp. Probably Windows 7 - Home Premium. 64/32 bit? (Not sure what the 'bit' is, but I'm guessing 64 is better?) Around 200GB Will be used in the partition. Then I will be good? :D

In the most simplistic description possible, 32-bit means Windows will only see 3.25GB of your 4GB, and 64-bit means Windows will see all of it (and more if you ever decide to upgrade how much RAM you have).
