I found this on another forum and thought some of you would enjoy it ...

Open up your terminal and then type in

telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

Its a text version of starwars! Remember those 80's/90's things where pictures where composed of letters? Well it strikes back! In Star Wars form!

Enjoy!

It's pretty cool. It just goes through the Star Wars story. :)

In your head.
I wonder if they actualy hand coded all the text of if they used the qt converter. Does anybody know where the QT to text frames converter can be found?

Edit: Proberly too much visual clutter to convert, and I think I just got caught watching this.

Edit 2: This looks as though it is one-to-one, in respect to time, with the movie. I have to play the movie audio while watching this.

That's fantastic Snowy thanks heaps. It's funny but I can show people all the cool OSX features but it's the basic stuff like this and the psychiatrist and tetris in terminal that gets a wow from people :).

Wow, I'm glad it was reposted or I would have missed out! Did anyone else watch to the end? They didn't quite finish it...made it to where Han Solo and Luke are in the Storm Trooper outfits and start to blast stuff then says to be continued.

With the amount of discussion this has generated, I think we can allow the repost. I know I wouldn't have found it otherwise!

Maybe someone should have brought back the old thread.... for once I am happy to see a repost!
