I've found that Starcraft does run much, much more smooth on my Mountain Lion partition rather than on Lion. Did a clean Lion install not long ago, so it's a fair comparison.

EDIT: I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009)

Does it *load* faster? In SL, gameplay is smooth as silk, but it takes eons to load compared to Windows on the same machine.

I haven't noticed any change in loading times, but it certainly is smoother; far more fps and minimal lag.
