Hello. The only game i played for years was starcraft 1. However recently as everyone knows starcraft 2 has been released. I play starcraft 2 atm in my imac 27 core 2 duo at medium settings 1920*1080 with no issues at all. However due to my needs i will have to sell my imac 27 and buy a macbook pro and an external display. I'm aiming for the macbook pro 13.3 base model with the nvidia graphics 320M because i have no money for the macbook pro 15 or upgraded graphics card. So, starcraft 2 gamers. how's the performance on starcraft 2 using medium settings in this gpu?

thank you for your feedback

It runs okay at medium, but that's on the 1280 x 850 resolution. There's no way it will be playable at 1920 x 1080.

I have the 15 inch 320M and it runs fine on medium to high settings

I suspect you have a 15" with the 330M

I just got a 17" with the i7 (antiglare!) and am surprised how well that machine plays it at 1920x1200 with medium settings considering how poorly my 15"C2D 2.53GHz plays it on low settings. (9600M turned on of course)

Ok, i tried for myself, the performance on medium settings for 1280*800 is just terrible on macbook pro 13.3. I haven't installed the windows on bootcamp yet but seems like i won't be playing sc2 for a while

Make sure you downloaded the graphics update. But it's still leagues better in bootcamp.

if you run bootcamp you'll be fine for medium shaders (which is really the most important setting if you care about graphics) since I run at 1280x800 on high shaders no problem. no shadows, and other .ini edits but yeah.. in OSX it's pretty wack, not just settings but it feels laggy, mouse clicks etc. If you want to play this with best experience, I recommend installing Windows.
