Starcraft II, 3D error message

I installed Windows 7 on my Boot Camp and installed Starcraft 2, after I click the icon of Starcraft2 it prompt out this error message:

"The videocard is not accessable because no display drivers are installed, another 3D application has exclusive access or the machine was locked. Please close any 3D applications or games and try starting Starcraft II again. If the problem persists, for more information consult our support website at http://starcraft2.com/support"

I'm using:
iMac 3.06GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM
256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9400

I think it suit enough to play Starcraft 2 unfortunately the above error message gave me some problem. I tried VMware fusion, Windows 7 play but the game is very slow because the graphics is shared within my iMac memory. Did anyone know how to solve this?

I have not seen this error before, but it suggests 1 of 3 possible causes:

1. Boot Camp drivers are not installed
2. Boot Camp drivers are installed, but out of date
3. If neither of the first two yields anything, quit stuff running in the background. Likely culprits are media players with visualizers active (iTunes, Sonique, Winamp, etc.).

Have you tried running it of OSX instead of vm?

There is a pending issue with 3D drivers incompatible while installing via bootcamp.

Even if bootcamp drivers were installed and updated and the above errors were shown in the logs, last heard was the player had to do a clean reinstall to get it working.

in device manager what is there for the video/graphics?

did you install the drivers? the Windows DVD's don't come with drivers for most hardware

The Boot Camp installer should launch automatically, or you might get a prompt from Windows asking you what you want to do with the disc you just inserted. That means Boot Camp is installed already, so that's not the cause. It was worth a try, though. I've heard reports of this issue being caused by, of all things, a bug in the GPU drivers Apple ships with the Boot Camp software. If that's what's affecting you, then the fix is simple: Upgrade the driver from ATI's or nVidia's web site, depending on which kind of GPU you have.
