StarCraft II - cannot set 2560 x 1440 resolution

Hi! Today I bought SC2 and I cannot set 2560 x 1440 resolution on my iMac 27-inch with ATI Radeon HD4670. Does someone know what's going on? I heard that this resolution is supported.. strange

Hmm... I don't think so, yet I have set 1920x1080 and everything on High - works great, of course it's not ultra clear, but during pretty big combats there are no freezes etc...

4670 can easily play at medium settings at 2560x1440. I do not know why you can't get 2560x1440 resolution, perhaps a post on blizzard's forums would be better suited.

Its a known issue and they are working on it - according to the blue response in the Mac Tech support forum for SC2.

I have the same iMac - 1920x1080 at Med, and a few other thing set to high I'm hovering around 32 FPS so to me the game looks and plays great at those settings.

I have the same model of iMac. I used to be able to play @ 2560x1440 full screen during beta, and you can even change resolutions in window mode at that time. I was thinking Blizzard intended to filter that resolution out because of our limited video memory or some bug in the rendering engine.
