Hi everyone,

I am suffering from a weird bug that I even encounter outside of the game, but it happens mostly while playing, specifically when I am scrolling by moving the mouse pointer to a screen corner or a side of it.

Here is what happens: I want to scroll the map slightly into one direction, so I bump into that corner or side of the screen, move the mouse back into the opposite direction in order to select units - and boom, the mouse suddenly is at the OTHER side of the screen, as if it got teleported, thus scrolling the map into the opposite direction.

It drives me crazy :(

I am not using any third-party mouse-accelerators or patches and my OS is Lion.
Also, I already tried turning off hot corners of the OS, no use :(

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix for this?

Thank you for reading and any replies!

Teleports or just moves very fast? You might me a victim of the mouse acceleration feature of OS X - the displacement of the cursor is proportional do the displacement in the trackpad and the speed.

My mouse is a Logitech MX 510. Old by now, but still good!

Also, I THINK it is a teleport... I don't think it can move that fast all over my display without leaving any trace on the way.

Would you suggest looking into 3rd-party mouse accelerator apps?

Same issue here in OS 10.6.8 with a Microsoft mouse, on a 2011 MBP. I didn't have this problem on my old system though so which Mac are you on?

I am encountering this problem on my MBP (Early 2008). Hmm... what was your previous Mac?

I have a spare Magic Mouse here, maybe I can check if it happens with that one too.
