Try StarPlayrX from Todd Bruss. App requirements: Intel 64 macOS 10.15.0 or later
Requires Xcode 11 and later, plus CameoKit framework

The source is even available!

Can confirm the StarPlayrX application from Todd Bruss works with macOS Big Sur 11.1 with Airplay 2 to HomePods! Awesome! This kept me from cancelling my SiriusXM subscription as a macOS app was always the missing piece

Thank you for the plug. StarPlayrX is also available on the iPhone at the AppStore and is temporally a free download. Yes it is Open Source along with its frameworks CameoKit (does all of the heavy lifting) and GTCola (for iOS only, which is a piece that controls the volume within the app and allows the rocker to work with the app, not to mention helps control AirPlay2 volume which is not easy task. At least it was not at the time of writing).

One final note: StarPlayrX was designed with six visually impaired beta testers. I decided to make accessibility a priority for the app. Many users were not able to use SiriusXM's own app because it lacked accessibility controls.

Album art currently broken. I plan to fix it soon. It has not been a priority.

For those looking for the iOS/iPadOS version that supports SiriusXM.ca you can download this beta in Test Flight

v1.2.2

A 100% native MenuBar version for Mac is in the works called StarPlayrX2. No ETA.

An M1 AppStore desktop version will be released later this year.

Can we use this beta on Apple silicon?

That native menu bar version for Mac sounds cool. Any updates on that? Thanks!

Given that their account on this forum has been cancelled, I wouldn't hold my breath on any updates, or even a reply.

Ah thanks. First time I’ve seen that. Wasn’t sure if that actually meant cancelled since I don’t know what all the other profile statuses mean/signify.
