Hello everyone,

Is it possible to make iChat start up on login, while remaining hidden? So it loads in the dock and all but no windows come up. I just want it to login to Bonjour.

Thanks,

You should be able to do this by starting up ichat then going into preferences in the ichat menu then selecting you accounts and unchecking start at login

open system prefs, go to accounts, click on the startup items tab, from there you can have it open on start up, and the checkbox there will allow you to have it hidden or not.

oh i thought he meant when he opens up ichat that he only wants bojour open and the aim and jabber closed.

I tried the system pref thing but for some reason even when I have it set to hide it pops up. This happens to anyone else?

Thanks,

I get the same thing, I really don't think there is a way to hide it upon startup.
