Whenever I restart my MBP into XP mode, it always defaults to using the laptop's LCD screen instead of the external monitor that I have hooked up via DVI. Is there a way to make it automatically default to one monitor? I'm using the stock nVidia drivers with bootcamp, if that makes a difference.

It's just getting frustrating to have this process be automatic in OS X, and then when I switch to XP to play a game I get my MBP screen lighting up in clamshell mode, forcing me to open it up and mess with the screen settings.

What is meant by this? (Doing it manually in XP?)

Do you mean go into the display settings and choose to use the external display? How do you get it to NOT display on the primary display? How do you get it not to sleep once you close the lid?

I got it to work by going to the ATI site and downloading their control panel (I didn't install their drivers). Then just use the control panel to select your external screen as the main screen and the MBP screen to be off.

I couldn't find a way to do it otherwise.
