i was using my mac to print some stuff off my computer and i only had one tab of safari open. no other applications were open. my computer started freezing and all of a sudden my computer was using 20gb of swap, 2mb of free ram, 2.7 million pages out, the exhaust was operating at 3500 rpm and the cpu was at 103 degrees Celsius. is that normal? i pulled the electrical wall outlet plug out to force reboot it. that seemed to fix the problem....... so far.

Quite Normal. Everything seems good to me. NOT

Seriously I have had Lot of problems with safari the last 2 months. try using firefox and see if you can make it happen again.

It's not normal, but if it doesn't do it again then there isn't anything to worry about. Just make sure you have a backup of any important files, and if it happens again contact Apple if it's still under AppleCare.
