I recently upgraded to the 3GS from the 3G in early August and have noticed that whenever I am using headphones or anything using the headphone jack there is static. 
Also it seems that when I am listening to music the volume will be fine one second and then I will hear a 'pop' and then the volume will not turn down even though you slide the slider to change the volume. When the slider gets all the way down I hear a 'pop' and no more music. When you slide it back over the volume resumes right where it was with no gradual increase.
Please Help! I would like for me to have a $215 phone that works correctly for once.
