Hi,

Sorry if it has been asked before, but I'm having a rather weird problem.
Until now, I had the iPad Pro 12.9 first generation (the 2015), update to 14.7.1, and whenever I launched a game for example, it would open full screen, hiding the status bar.

Skip to today, when I bought the 12.9 M1, transferred from one machine to another via the automatic procedure, and now whenever launching the same games for example, the status bar is staying in full sight. Why is that, and how can I get rid of it?

Thx

Is it an old game? When was it last updated? Sadly, unless the developer has optimized it for the 2018 Pros and newer, I think you're out of luck with fullscreen mode.

I didn't follow such evolutions ;) So you're saying that an old Pro will behave differently than a newer one, even though they sport the same OS version, same screen size, resolution, etc?

I think one problem is the layout change. Since there's no more Home Button, they made the "Home Bar" practically permanent and I'm guessing the old APIs for fullscreen mode don't work the same on the non-Home button iPads.
