Status of Cha-ching development, and any other finance programs that sync to iphone

I was all set ot buy cha-ching, but then I read all these people saying development has stopped on it. Is this true? And if so, what alternatives are there? I want something that both my wife and I can use in a desktop setting to look at our bank accounts and manage our finances, and both have iphone apps that we can use on the go that sync with everything. Any thoughts?

Have you seen mint.com, they have an iPhone/Touch app.

It is sadly true. The company has been MIA for months and months now. No response to customer service issues, nothing. I still use it but I am very disappointed in them and would not recommend the app to anyone.

I tried that, but I need something that works as a mac osx desktop program to manage everything there too. Mint is a little more of an online spending/tracking program, I want a true financial management application.

[app]iBank[/app] syncs to a Mac desktop counterpart via WebDav or WiFi.

[app]HomeBudget[/app] syncs to other iPhones/iTouches over 3G, no desktop counterpart though. I believe you can erxport the trasactions in a format readable by a lot of desktop money management applications.

[app]iReconcile[/app] also syncs as HomeBudget does.

The developer of [app]PocketMoney[/app] was looking for beta testers for a family sync feature (saw the request via Twitter), so he should also be coming out with that sometime soon I'd guess.

Don't bother with SplashMoney, a lot of people have trouble getting transactions to sync accurately to the desktop counterpart.
