Stop me if you've heard this one: a geek leaves his phone in a bar, and... oh, you have heard that one? It turns out that Brian Lam, the Gizmodo editor involved in the iPhone 4 "bar heist" saga and one of the biggest tech scandals of 2010, left his cell phone in a restaurant the other day. How did the aftermath play out? Lam, apparently blind to the irony, posted about it on Twitter: "left my phone at lunch, lady turned it in. good thing we were nice, earlier, and gave her the chair she asked for #karma"

yup Gizmodo is sure been acting mature since this whole ordeal I seriously hope they get burned with this trial

I just never really bothered with Gizmodo, even before the whole iPhone thing. I do love their sister site Lifehacker though.

I normally go to Engadget, Ars Technica or Wired for my news instead.

Bemalte Blumen duften nicht.
Gizmodo is trash. I guess legally she had to give it back or make an effort (we don't want the lady to get in trouble) but if getting what one deserves could overtake the law then she should of opened it up, took pics, held it hostage, stole his contact and text info and posted it all on a blog.

The problem is that Gizmodo has the good commenters and Engadget has the good stories and integrity (as much as can be expected for a blog).

Yeah, but with every story on Engadget there's a massive war going on, it seems.
