Hello,

Apoloize for such a basic question, but this is really bugging me.

Have a new iPhone 15. Lots to learn about using it.
Quite a toy.

But, every time I put it "down," and don't use for just a few
minutes, it always requires me to re-sign in.

Any way to disable this, and/or stay signed in for a "long" time ?

I would have no problem with it always being signed in.
Probably not possible ?

How about staying signed in for an hour or so ? Possible ?

Thanks, appreciate the help,
Bob

Yes you can. Go to settings - display & brightness - auto-lock. Here you set your phone from Never to 30 seconds. The phone will stay open for the amount of time you set.

If you make it easy for you to enter then you make it easy for everyone else to enter as well. Imagine you're in public and you put your phone down for a second and someone else picks it up. They now have complete access to your phone and its content. The user is always the weakest link in the security chain.
