Steam: Killing Floor

Game has worked well for over a year, this past week it will not launch. The game simply shuts down after about 4 seconds of load time. Anyone else having this issue?

Same thing happened to me. Perhaps I did it the long way but I right/clicked the KF icon in the steam client library... Chosen to delete all local content. Then I re-downloaded it.. works again!
