Steam logon problem

Hi everybody.
I am suddenly unable to logon to steam.
I am still able to do so from my pc. I have tried resetting password and it doesn't work. The strange this is that I receive no error message.

I am prompted to enter usename and password as usual and when I do the prompt dissapears (as usual) but then returns and prompts me again. I have no error message of any kind. If I try a wrong username/password I get the usual error message so I am absolutely positive that I am connected and that my username/password is correct. Does anybody have any experience with this?

Had the same issue, but the remedy was simple: Download the Steam client, overwrite your current application and it will do its update magic. Presto! Welcome back to steam.
