Hi! On my Macbook 13" (spring 2010) I'm having a hard time playing TF2 running from Steam MAC.

Specs:
2GB Ram
Nvida GT 320m 256mb
Intel 2.26 ghz Core 2 duo

I'm confused because the specs should be fine to run the game at medium settings.

However, I experience stutters and jittery framerate in high action areas even when I'm playing on the lowest possible settings and resolution. It really takes the fun out of this game....

Anything that I'm doing wrong, or is this game just poorly optimized...?

Running it on my 2009 iMac Core 2 Duo (3.06GHz), 4GB RAM, GPU ATI 4670HD:

I remember getting TF2 as part of the Orange Box. All the Half-Life 2 games and Portal ran native rez, maxed details, buttery smooth. TF2 ran like crap. Major chop-fest. Honestly, I've never played it since.

As your specs are less than the iMac I had, I would imagine it would run even worse on your machine.

They are poorly done for OS X. It's really not Valves fault though. Apple lacks what is needed in order to run these games as smooth as they would in Windows.

I would have to run all Valve games at 720p in order to get decent frame rates on my 2009 iMac.

With my new MBP is a whole new story. Runs maxed out everything. But even with that the same in Windows is double the performance almost.
